This project involves the construction of a multi-storey residential building featuring one basement, ground level, eight floors, and a roof level, situated within the sustainable and rapidly developing zone of Masdar City, Abu Dhabi.
Due to the structural requirements and depth of excavation, the project required a robust and carefully engineered foundation system to ensure long-term stability and safety.
HDFC was appointed as the Enabling Contractor, responsible for executing all shoring and piling works essential for the successful completion of the building’s substructure.
HDFC constructed a secant pile retaining wall system along the excavation perimeter to prevent soil movement and support the deep excavation required for the basement.
