1️⃣ INTERNAL SHORING : 65 L.M (80 75 cm DIA pile) with different depth (6-8m).
2️⃣ PILING WORK : 322 Pile 1 M DIA with different cut off level and toe level (10-20 m depth).

The Najmat Development District Cooling Plant is a critical infrastructure facility located in the heart of Reem Island, Abu Dhabi, designed to provide sustainable and efficient cooling services to the surrounding development zones.
As part of this high-value infrastructure project, High Deep Foundation Contracting L.L.C. (HDFC) was appointed as the Enabling and Foundation Contractor, responsible for executing comprehensive shoring and piling works that ensure the long-term structural integrity of the plant’s substructure.
HDFC delivered a complete range of enabling works, covering both outer and internal shoring systems, as well as deep foundation piling.

These systems were designed and installed to stabilize the excavation perimeter, ensuring complete soil retention and structural safety during the deep foundation and basement construction phases.
The internal shoring system provided additional support to internal excavations, effectively managing lateral soil pressure and preventing deformation during construction activities.
These cast-in-situ bored piles form the main foundation system for the cooling plant, providing vertical and lateral load-bearing capacity required for the facility’s structural and operational stability.
